Keep in mind as we go through the laundry list of things the Browns did crappily that I am aware that many of my sentiments have done 180's from last week. So have the people I hate. So spare me the criticism.
This was another pathetic performance. Let's go through the array of things wrong with today's game.
(1) Northcutt ever being on the field at all if he's not returning a punt. His hands are awful and he's too goddamn small. The turnover he caused was just what Carolina needed to get right back in the game.
(2) Charlie is officially a bad QB. He's just not any good. He is insanely inaccurate. The line was not an excuse this week. The line was surprisingly decent for the most part. Charlie underthrew, overthrew, threw late, threw early and just plain missed a whole lot of receivers today. The pick at the end was icing on the shitcake. It's pathetic that all we had to be excited about was that Charlie made the right decision by throwing the stupid ball out of bounds a few times.
(3) Carthon and his FB fetish hurt us again this week. Several times.
(4) Cribbs excellent returns were wasted. FG's aint good enough when you start on your opponent's 40 yard line or closer. Did anyone see the disgusted look on his face when we ended up with that last FG?
(5) That third and inches call was ridiculous. JUST GET THE FIRST DOWN! Trick plays should not be used in crucial situations when the offense has been inconsistent all day long.
(6) Braylon looked like an idiot against Gamble. Why is it that whenever NFL receivers talk shit they never show up for the game?
(7) WE NEVER BLITZ!!! Why the hell not? Why do we give QB's so much goddamn time to throw? It's not like Washington is good for anything other than grabbing a halfback's ankle after a yard or two.
(8) Just the offense in general. Charlie can't put a drive together to save his life.
(9) Defense is on the field too damn much. Our defense has actually looked damn good in all but the Bengals game. Killa Kam and Jones in particular have consistently made solid plays. As a whole the d has stood up tall in crucial situations. But any defense gets tired when they're on the field ALL THE GODDAMN TIME.
(10) Being a Browns fan is the worst. What a depressing franchise.
