I get restructuring, but we all could see there was a significant drop off when Chubb was out.
The team is better with him, and if there is adequate cap space....head scratch...

My friend is a big Georgia fan and said the other day that “no question” Gurley was a better NFL RB than Chubb

I think that’s absolutely insane and the 2 aren’t close but I’m obviously quite biased.

That said I don’t think Gurley was close to Chubb. definitely the better fantasy RB and had a great 2 year stretch, but overall I thought this was a very unreasonable take

I dont even think its close. Gurley is out of football for a reason.

Rams have a better offense and Gurley was used in short yardage situations and thus has more TD's, one season he had 17 rushing and 4 receiving for a total of 21. Also Gurley is probably the better receiving back, but Chubb never was used as a receiver or as much on 3rd downs.

I think its Chubb too, but when you look at usage, you can make a case for Gurley even if I dont agree with that case.

I think you could make the case that Gurley's very best season was as good and perhaps slightly better than Chubb's best season.

But I'd say Chubb has been the better back overall. 5.3 YPC to 4.2 YPC is a massive difference.
