The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
At what level is it ok to take on a dragon by yourself? I defeated my first dragon as part of the main story quest, but that was with the help of a few other soldiers. I didn't expect to see another dragon for awhile, until a few hours later I see a shadow on the ground and there's a giant dragon circling around.

The dragons somewhat scale to your level. Initially you will just be fighting regular "dragons" and then you will start to see frost dragons, blood, elder etc. So really any level is ok to take them on. If you don't have a ranged attack it will be difficult though...

If you have the shield bash then close range encounters end up being pretty easy. Just get in close, shield bash, start slashing repeatedly, shield bash, slashing, ect.. The shield bashing pretty much keeps the dragon from doing serious damage.

How i kill these damn mages? i got a bunch of assholes that are hand to hand combat and these freeze mages in the back just fucking me up.I know i got to kill them first but so hard to turn my back to the "soldiers". any suggestions?

^^^^^^^ya shield bash is the shit

Can anybody who plays this game explain why the "Arrow in the knee" joke is so funny?

Because almost every guard will eventually tell you that he was once an adventurer like yourself, until he took an arrow to the knee.

See that's why I could never get into these RPG type games. That would completely take me out of the experience. Maybe next generation.

I used to be a gamer like you, until I took an arrow to the knee.

The length of these final quests is putting me off from finishing the game. Need to find the motivation to finish.

40 hours in and I have a SHIT ton of quests left to do....technically haven't finished a quest line (though im about to finish the dark brotherhood). It's to the point where I'm avoiding talking to people so more quests don't pile up.

This game is huge....and a great value.
