I don't like the 2-3-2 format, I wish it went back to 2-2-1-1-1. I mean, with all the 3-day layoffs in between, why not??

I think they originally went with the 2-3-2 because it was teams from opposite coasts like LA and Boston. But you're right, with the 3-day layoffs 2-2-1-1-1 would be better.
