The good old days of the NBA

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I remember that music like it was yesterday. Along with Inside Stuff with Ahmad Rashad and Summer Sanders. Man do I miss those days. I remember watching the first crappy game just to get to the 2nd part of the double header Jordan vs Whoever :/

Fo sure. I remember one year they had Price in the opening pics of players, and i was liking that. Great music. And NBA on NBC had a nice ring to it.

I liked Jordan when I was young just because he was the best, but i eventually realized my Cavalier roots.

I remember the chic Ahmad worked with on Inside Stuff before Summer Sanders. Now that show seems too geared to kids for me.

Maybe we like the old intro because its a fond childhood memory? :dunno:

I do like ABC's coverage, mainly because Hubie Brown calls the action, and he is the best to listen to

Yup, I remember watching those sunday triple headers...

They were the best...

Yup, i think its Willow Bay......CDT was still watching Barney at this point..:chuckles:

Yeah watching the games back then was cool. Not having to work so much and so many responsibilities, just chill, play with friends and stuff...

I do like the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers theme theyve been using in these current playoffs.

No doubt, I remember watching the Pacers and Knicks play in the playoffs when I was like 13, and Reggie Miller dropped something like 8 points in 10 seconds. As soon as that game was over, I went out to my basketball court in the backyard and just kept pretending I was Reggie shooting them from deep..

Good times..

Barney??? pfff Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles Foo..

Don't fault me because I made my debut in 89'. I rememember sitting in my crib listening to that game. Man It was up and down back and forth and I was cooing (Ehlo get a hand up) but it was too late :thumbdown

I do remember the music though it was slick, I used to walk around humming that days after the games. Da da da na na na na Da na na na na na dum dum dum dum :chuckles:

That Nelly song "Heart of a Champion" has a beat identical to the NBC NBA one.

The theme is from John Tesh, and it's called roundball rock (or something like that)

You were a pretty smart baby!:chuckles:

Im not faulting, just teasing/kidding. You definitely seem smart for your age, probably beating the women away with your rattle at age 2.:chuckles:

I'm jp too hpdizzle..nah I didn't start with the ladies until I got my bigwheel around age 2. that was the turning point :chuckles: 1 post from 1600 and 90 rep power btw!

Oh yeah! Any todler-playa knows the Big Wheel is a Babe Magnet!!!

1601 now baby. And Im grateful to all who have repped what the High Plains Drifter brings to the e-table.
