The fact that Kobe is bitching this much about it tells me he probably thinks its serious and he'll be out a while. Hopefully Nash can try and play like Nash again.

This team with Nash running the helm and its remaining schedule should still beat Utah and its remaining schedule. The key is we're no longer hoping for them to make up a deficit in the standings.

Can't believe the back and forth between two. Obviously Jones moved into his space on a fall-a-way jumper. Even if serious, Kobe maybe exaggerating to motivate team.

Yet, it falls in good part of schedule. They weren't suppose to win at Indi on Fri and then are home with Sac before going to Pheonix. With Gasol back soon and Howard finding form, I trust they beat the tankers especially Sac. Sit him vs. Indi and get 4 day rest and he will be good to go. I predicted 2-3 or 3-2 versus their last 4 games plus Indi. They are at 3-1. If they go 6-2 versus 5 tankers plus Dallas at home and Mil/GS on road and 3-3 in final stretch (5 home games if inc Clipps game), that is 43 wins and playoffs. Still very doable unless Kobi tore something.

no, but Kobe does, he's playing tonight. His ability to play through injuries is pretty amazing.

Interested by the ESPN article asking if the Lakers' recent run is simply luck.

The fact that the Lakers have a significantly positive "the diff," unlike one of the teams above them in the West and all of those below them, means that it is not, and their recent improvement puts them exactly where they should be.
