Bibby wasn't walking away from 14.5 mil. No way.

This is just a deal for the Maloof's to save money. The Kings don't become players in free agency now unless they can somehow make a similar deal and dump Brad Miller for expirings.

The Hawks don't have a 1st rounder next season so they might as well take Bibby on for trash and try to end their playoff drought.

Bibby had the option to walk this past summer... but he knew he wouldn't get anything close to the $14 million. I don't know why he'd walk when he's a year older...

Even the biggest Danny Ferry homers can't justify us not getting this deal done. Now all we can hope for is one of those 4 players to have Bird rights and reject it... Pathetic!

What is ferry doing? Playing patty cake in his office? We've heard alot of talk about kidd and bibby this season, and now with Mike Miller rumors circulating we can expect to see him land somewhere other than cleveland

The Cavs just do not have the ending contracts right now to be able to acquire a big time player. You can't blame Ferry for not getting a major deal done when he doesn't have the pieces other teams want.

I also can't blame him for not getting Bibby. There's not much you can do when the Petrie turns down a better deal last summer and instead accepts the crap he got from the Hawks.
That's the most frustrating thing. That a player the Cavs wanted, made a major effort to acquire ,and would have been a big help, ends up practically being given away for less than what you were offering.

I'm starting to believe in the theory that the other GM's are conspiring against LeBron's team. They see the monster that has already been born. And no one wants to push him over the edge towards 10 straight titles by giving his team another star. But this may just backfire as he becomes more determined to carry this team even higher...

We were 4 million short of expirings they gave up. Cash is better then expirings buddy.
