So does the NFL make him sell the team still?
I bet Joey Lawrence is naked on all fours in year dreams at night.

That will have to wait for the federal indictments. Depends on if they feel they can get charges to stick, then the NFL would have no recourse. Settling with the various customers his company defrauded solves one problem (and only if all of the 17 plaintiffs who were victims of this small scale, rogue salesman driven situation all agree to the settlement conditions) but certainly does nothing for the federal case.
The NFL has stood by criminal owners before, I don't see a reason why they wouldn't stand by them in the future.
Haslam hasn't proven he can successfully do anything with regards to this team yet.
I wouldn't be devastated over losing him at this stage, simply because I don't have a body of work to form an opinion from.
Sucks short term though, in the unlikely event it happens.

I think we can all agree on the sentiment. Here's the thing. Haslam has shown that he actually cares about the future and present of the Browns team and organization. I don't want to lose that; we haven't had something like that since Al Lerner.
He's done the job PR wise thus far, were all still waiting for the actions to back up that talk.
