The Jonas V thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No need to lock. It's in "around the NBA". We still got a Dion Waters & Anthony Bennett threads out here.

I think most people (or least me) are more so saying "lock it up" as an F U to the idea that we fucked up by not taking Jonas. Feels good to have very legitimate reasons to feel that way now. And of course it's fine being in this forum. But at the same time, at least Dion and Bennett are former Cavs. Not the same with Jonas.

To be fair, it's mostly been too close to call up until these playoffs.

At this point in the playoffs, he's established himself as one of the most valuable role players in the league. And Jonas was just juseless in the playoffs.

As one who had been giving TT shit all year, I'm very pleased to see him growing into his role as an elite bench rebounder.

I never minded the hype for Jonas. He's a huge guy who can shoot and rebound.

What I did mind was the tearing down of TT that had happened for a long ass time. One of the mods said Tristan would be lucky to be Stromile Swift...

I still think TT has the higher ceiling and I have for a long time because he just continuously gets better incrementally. I thi k he will do it for his whole career like Andy did.

I have been saying TT is clutch for a year, and that is the opposite of Jonas. Jonas isn't there at the end of the game, and I'd just say he isn't smart enough to make those end of the game plays that Tristan excels at. Jonas is solid and would have been good for us, but Moz and TT is way better.

I still think Jonas is better. He just have a coach that apparently hates him and is one of the worse coaches of the league. Plus TT is playing with Lebron, making him look better. Hell, even Kyrie makes him look better compared to the chuckers Toronto is playing at the 1 and 2 spots.

This thread can finally be locked and flushed. Tristan and Mozgov are better for the Cavs than this one guy ever would be. Even playing with LeBron, there was no indication that Tristan would beast like this in a starting role.
