Dave and Dan really aren't gonna show up anywhere are they? They're just gonna peace out and never speak about the series again, huh?
So like, the North was just ravaged.....how precisely would they stop the Ironborn from just saying "nah, we're independent too?"
I feel like basically every single kingdom would have a major problem with the new King granting his sister independence but no one else.
That whole ending just made no sense at all.
It's possible that at least some of the other Kingdoms would prefer to be part of a united Kingdom rather independent.
But that would certainly not be true for the Ironborn, and probably not Dorne either.
Over half of Yaras ironborn were gone when they went with euron. Then they got decimated by the night king. They don’t have a leg to stand on. They’re being ruled or slautered.
Dorne is pretty neutral and I don’t think they care if they say they’re part of the 6 kingdoms. They’ve pretty much been doing whatever they wanted for the whole show.
The Ironborn are the only ones with a fleet of any kind, and Yara already was angry about Danaerys being killed.
The leader of Dorne has always referred to himself as a Prince rather than a Lord precisely because they like thinking of themselves as more independent.
The North perhaps could be distinguished from Dorne because there aren't potential border problems like Dorne had with its neighbors, and it doesn't present a potential threat the way an independent Iron Islands might. But those are considerations that at least deserved a mention in that final council.

Outside of the North who has an army left? Maybe it makes sense for them to stay together just so they can have some sort of military if another outside invading force wants their try at the 6 kingdoms.
On the other side too I don't think anyone but the north could have a chance in a civil war. The iron born could say they want to become an independent kingdom and everyone else could say no. A civil war happens, the 5 other kingsdom crush them and install someone else to rule the iron islands.

Well, you've got a point. Logically, the North's army should number less than a thousand, and Dorne should have at least 20,000 or so. But the showrunners apparently ignored most of the losses suffered by the North over the course of the show, so your explanation that nobody else was strong enough may be correct in terms of show-logic.
Vale had men against the Night King. It’s who Brienne and Jaime are leading (for some reason).Yeah I'm going by show logic. The better question is why didn't anyone send armies up to winterfell against the night king or against Cersi. Like the Vale helps Jon in the battle of the bastards but doesn't send anyone up against the night king or against Cersei. Same logic with the riverlands who's leader is the Stark's uncle.
“Ghosts lined the hallway, dressed in the faded raiment of kings. In their hands were swords of pale fire. They had hair of silver and hair of gold and hair of platinum white, and their eyes were opal and amethyst, tourmaline and jade.”
“The Golden Empire's first ruler was the God-on-Earth, the only son of the Lion of Night and the Maiden-Made-of-Light, who traveled in a palanquin carved from a single pearl and carried by a hundred queens, his wives. He ruled for ten thousand years until he ascended to the stars to join his forebears. Dominion then passed to his eldest son, the Pearl Emperor, who ruled for a thousand years. Power then passed to the Jade Emperor, the Tourmaline Emperor, the Onyx Emperor, the Topaz Emperor, and the Opal Emperor. Each reigning for a shorter and more troubled time than the previous emperor, for wild men and beasts pressed the borders of the Empire, lesser kings grew proud and rebellious, and the common people gave themselves to sin.
When the daughter of the Opal Emperor ascended to power as the Amethyst Empress, her envious brother cast her down and proclaimed himself the Bloodstone Emperor . . .”
