Well...he brought my favorite college team the best years in school history. Maybe he can do the same for my favorite NFL team?

I'm just pissed that the NFL pushed the draft back. It really should be tonight, but instead it's still two weeks away. The truth is nobody knows what the Browns are going to do, and we have to wait another long 2 weeks to find out. We need at least one of the top qbs out of this draft. We haven't seen a decent qb since Bernie. It's time to stop messing around and find someone who can play the quarterback position.

ESPN Stats & Information reports that Fresno State's Derek Carr completed only 30.9 percent of his passes when under duress in 2013.

I think this, more than Carr's mechanics, is the scariest thing for me. Seems like a lot of these guys that can't deal with pressure never improve significantly in that aspect.

I watched the Gruden QB camp on Carr last night, I gotta say something was different about it. It seemed that the show went into more detail and they went a lot deeper with Carr than most of the fluff stuff they do. Most times, Gruden asks the guys to show a route on the board. The Carr episode went into a lore more detail trying to showcase just how extensive his football IQ and leadership qualities are.

You can tell Gruden really likes Carr and I get the sense that if Gruden needed a QB, he'd take Carr over everyone else in this draft.

Bridgewater is so strange to me. How can all these big name TV scouts be saying Bridgewater is the best QB and still ranked as the best QB in this draft yet NFL teams believe he's a fringe 1st rounder? I can see if 1 or 2 guys say he's the top QB but I don't know of any drafting service that has him even below 15th in their overall ranking.

Group think definitely happens but you'd expect some prominent people to say from the start he was a 2nd rounder. I don't count Mike Mayock because he has a bad habit of flipping his grades at the last moment.

Just goes to show that the media is often playing catch-up.

I would flip my shit if we could wait until 26 and get Bridgewater.

Get Mack or Robinson at 4 knowing Teddy would be there at 26. Oh my...

That would be nice but I think I'd have to grab him at 4 if it were my call because I don't believe he or Bortles will last much past that due to the position they play. Those two are the only QB's I'd be willing to draft at all so unless they're off the board at 4 it would be an easy call for me. I don't even think I'd risk trading down very far because of the risk they'd both be taken.

I don't buy anything anyone says about them falling, all smokescreen going on around the NFL right now.

so lets talk about Tom savage

Landed in a good situation. Going to be the backup to Ryan Fitzpatrick, gets a chance to learn under Bill O'Brien. Not really much to discuss about him now that he's not on the Browns.
