The Strus is Loose

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
They hope to get Strus back by the beginning of April.
WTH happened to him? I don't remember seeing him get injured? This team has had bizarre injuries before training camp, all star break, etc

Shit been downhill since he went out
Strus is a major catalyst in our O, next to Don and DG he's got the most perimeter gravity. Does well to get others involved, rebounds and defends his position well and rotates nicely in team D concepts. Navigates the P&R far better than I had imagined or had seen prior during his time in Miami, although am certain he and Bam had good flow and read well of one another in South Beach.

The biggest thing however is he's one of the few MFers on this team that moves without the damn ball. It's such a difference when he's actively involved. He's not one to sit in the corner for 20 seconds of the play, additionally Max screens for others frequently and well, forcing them to move on flare screens, back cuts and pop outs and such.

Am hella glad we've got him locked down for many seasons ahead yet!

fun doc I stumbled into on YT on Max's background & upbringing

I am considerably older than Lebron, i have been older than pro athletes for years now.
There are no Gen X athletes in the major four sports anymore, IIRC. Brady and Haslem were some of the last ones.

I had 2 people i knew well that played in the major sports, Brad Miller who hasnt played in years, and Drew Brees as we know retired and is a couple years from the Hall. Those are the last for me for sure.
