The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'd argue 3H is the best game in the series so that is a high bar

Engage isn't bad, but it's not as good as 3H... It's one of those games if it came out before 3H it would have a higher ranking, since you wouldn't be comparing the two and going I liked this and this a bit better since I saw it in the other game...

Was in the mood for an open world game to play, as I haven't played one in quite some time. And I was also very interested in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. So I pulled the trigger and got it last month, and started playing it yesterday, which is my first Xenoblade game. And I am only about two hours in, and I'm like, oh man, this game is great. Don't be surprised if my avatar changes to Eunie soon, as she's already my favorite character.

I just finished up Unicorn Overlord recently. It's an interesting SRPG with the map clear mechanics and the way combat is handled. The story left a lot to be desired thought...

Spider-Man 2 has been sitting and since it came out. About halfway thru this game sucks. The writing is horrendous.

It's not bad, but they could have done things a little better...

Been playing returnal and this game is very fun and addictive, but damn is it hard. Took me 8 hours to beat the first boss

Never played the Mass Affect series, but I noticed that the Legendary Edition -- which includes all three games, all DLC's, and remastered -- is on sale on Steam for 90% off -- only $5.99, so I scooped it up.

My quest to get through my backlog of games obviously took a bit of a hit. Although I deliberately stay years behind so I buy most games at pretty big discounts.

Yea, I’ve been doing the same with my game purchases. Helps that I’m always behind on beating new games since I’m so busy anymore.

Mass Effect 1 is probably going to be a bit rough, as it’s old and IMO hasn’t aged amazingly, but it’s a good story. 2 is one of my favorite games of all time and I actually credit it with getting me back into gaming back when it came out. Incredible trilogy of titles.
