It's all very, very sad. I'm not sure I can blame the bullpen anymore. Something is just not right. For one thing, why is Shapiro constantly signing up these old pitchers who were released by 10 other teams? Another was just signed yesterday, and is now pitching in AA Akron. ... 33 years old and was last in the majors in 02/03. He's a Cuban defector. What is the attraction to these types of guys?

Why not simply bring up ALL young pitchers in AA and AAA and get rid of all the oldies? Does Shapiro really think he can win this year? It seems like it. Does he really think Wedge is the manager of the future?..... hell yeah; I'm sure he thinks that. Pathetic.

Why hasn't Sowers been put in the bullpen since Wedge should know by now he's a 4 or 5 inning pitcher at max?
