Whoops, you're right! Thank you for that. I just amended this and submitted it so we'll see how we go. Tried using the C with the sword through it but it seemed like too much overkill so I left it simple to allow for the skyline to steal the major focus.

Thanks! I appreciate that. It's rendering via a Photoshop mockup using smart objects in Illustrator.

I kinda thought the same thing. Not that I dislike those mock-ups too much; I'm just more traditional I suppose. Plus, if it gives Mike Polk Jr. "rip on Cleveland" material, I'm not interested.

ASquared designs are absolutely unreal...but the "skyline" idea is just too cool. How about the ASquared design with the skyline on the lower back??

What i like about this concept is the NBA could have them cross league over xmas or something, each area has their iconic buildings. They should seriously think about it.

That's a pretty cool idea but my biggest concern would be the skyline getting tucked in too far or not tucked in enough.

I've noticed everything everyone has come up with in this thread so far have basically been rehashes of old stuff. Anyone want to try a design that's more original?

I'm fine fine with rehashes of old stuff. The Cavs have had 50 uniform changes in 44 years. It's time to synthesize and integrate and settle on a canonical design. We are about to have an era of sustained success on par with the Celtics of the sixties. The Cavs need to have a single look associated with that era. Successful franchises settle on a look, because that look gets associated with WINNING.
