Im sorry which Vets besides AV would the cavs play to get the most wins possible?

Really the only thing that could be done to make this team better is to never play Luke Walton again and to manage the rotations a bit better so that we don't have five bench guys out there at once. We saw what a difference it made in the second half last night when Scott removed Walton from the rotation and kept at least one starter on the court at all times. Sure we lost the game in the end, but the bench kept the game competitive unlike in the first half when, and I'm saying this in the most polite way possible, they dropped their pants and took a giant shit all over the court.

until casspi and Samardo are teamed up with Zeller and gibson and either sloan/miles the cavs really havent played their potential best 2nd unit

Count me as one who, while I definitely do not think this team has a ton of wins in them this season, highly questions the effectiveness of Byron's rotations so far. His hockey-like, complete line substitutions drive me up a wall. These stretches where we have to watch 5 guys who are borderline NBA players all at once is maddening. I get it. He doesn't have a lot to choose from. But his sub patterns leave a ton to be desired so far. Walton shouldn't even be seeing the light of day. I would love to see a little bit more of Leuer in there with either TT or Andy, and see how the floor spacing affects the rest of our offense. I'd like to see Dion sub back in once KI comes out the first time. I know there's a lot of experimenting going on, but some of this stuff is so blatantly obvious it really does leave one wondering if they are doing everything possible to win, even with the lack of talent. Believe me, I have a hard time buying that a coach like BS wouldn't do everything in his power to win games, but there has been some very odd decisions on lineups, timing, rotations, etc.

Byron will adjust the rotations. Coaches like to tinker and let various players and ideas have a chance to play out.

So, I don't expect our second unit to remain the disaster it is now, but as long as Chris Grant avoids signing competent NBA vets, it's going to make things real tough unless some of these guys actually step up.

Any team with Walton and Casspi on the same team alone Is for sure In tank mode. However CJ miles seems to have built this years tank quite nice for them to roll. So now some where Jamison Is clapping his hands as he sits by a fire... As he says "I taught them well."
