This is a no brainer. I'm just giving away vcash by giving you a chance to bet on Toledo.

F the Rockets... I'm a second-generation Falcon (even though I'm sure we'll lose as usual).

I only care because I went to BGSU. And still I don't care that much.

The clash of the Titans is on!!! I like the strong support for BGSU. Toledo will be STOMPED!

I think Toledo is better than BG this year, but this is a good rivarly. I'll check the scores during the commercials for the Cavs game. I think its on ESPN2. I dont care too much, but its fun talking trash to Style. :chuckles:

BGSU actually plays competitive sports ?

Battle of the weiners...

I can't believe there's actually a V-Bookie thread on this game :chuckles: :chuckles: :chuckles: :chuckles:

All those guys who bet on BGSU are about to lose V-Cash over nothing, though...:chuckles: :chuckles: :chuckles:

Why is there all this talk about Michigan and USC? Clearily the rockets are the second best team in the land, and deserve a shot at the Buckeyes in Arizona.

Wow, people bet $2425 on the Falcons? I thought we had smarter posters than that. You guys do realize Toledo wins this one basically every time, right? Nine times the last twelve years, to be exact. Coincidence that this ownage started right around when I started to attend Toledo?

Hpd, what a sad alum/fan you are, watching the Cavs in some meaningless game instead your school playing their rival. :shakehead I of course watched this one, and enjoyed every minute of the thrashing.

Yeah I dont follow the Falcons too closely. When I was there basketball was pretty good, we had Antonio Daniels, now a Wizard, and later Keith Mcleod, who was on the Jazz. Ive lost touch with BG sports, they havent been great lately.

Ill watch a Cavs game over most BG games. Maybe if BG was good, and a large stage, but I got my priorities, and thats the Cavs baby.

I respect the person who bet 2400 on this game. Damn BG cant step it up against their rivals. I would have bet more if i hadnt lost most of it on the OSU game. Buckeyes won, but couldnt clear the spread. Oh Well.

We'll get you next year Style!!!!!!! Fear the Falcons!!! ummmmmmm.......well.....they're not to scary..... :chuckles:

Sounds like we were there around the same time HPD. I was there Fall 1994 - Spring 1998. Best four years of my life

For those of you that watched the game...did Clint Cochran start or finish the game? I'm just curious cause I went to highschool with him. I know he got hurt earlier in the year and the other guy hasn't let go of the QB spot so I was wondering when Cochran played cause from the boxscore it shows that he did. Thanks.

Both Cochran and Opelt played, based on the situation, one being the pocket passer, the other more of an athlete.

Yeah, I was there 96-2000. I loved going to the BBall games. BG had good teams but they couldnt make it to the big dance. Bonzi Wells was with Ball State. Saw Wally World play. Remember Anthony Stacey? He kept Wally in check pretty good one game. Never hit the NBA but I bet he's playing in Europe or something. Now the BG men aint too good i dont think.

I liked playing intermural sports too. Did basketball, flag football. Good Times

When I was in school, football was king at UT. I was there for the undefeated season of 95, which included wins over Purdue and then UNLV in the Las Vegas Bowl. We finished in the top 20 in the country. Wasean Tate got Heisman votes that year, which I believe was the only time a Toledo player got votes. Shame he blew out his knee the following year and was never the same.
