For those who haven't seen it..the dunk was unnecessary the whistle was blown at the 3 point line he wanted to give everyone some flavor but..didn't quite work out for em..

About 215 lbs landing akwardly on his left knee :puke:

Torn ACL/MCL

What a shame and on his b-day. One of the more useless injuries of this year, and it's a season ender.

He was having a great year too.

It sucks that he had to get injred but hearing that bumb announcers voice was great.

Thats more than a season ender. This will be a lifetime injury, his career will never be the same.

Ron Harper
Danny Manning
After an acl tear, you come back not even half the athlete you once were.

Look how long ago those injuries were....ACL tears are nothing anymore.

I know a kid that came back to hoop after 6 months.

And I know where the WMD are.

Depends on your body..how bad the injury was..varies among people..everyone's different..

Mike Doss nearly ended Willis McGahee's career..he was a Top 3 pick..locked. But he blew it out..his major ligaments (ACL, MCL, PCL) rehabbed forever like a madman and now he's the face of the Bills.

Also depends on:
- how long it takes to get full range of motion back in the knee (supposed have full range before you get it operated on)
- how soon after the accident you get it operated on
- how quickly you get in PT afterwards

I bet that kid isnt a nba calibur athlete.

When you are a player like Allen that relies pretty heavily on his explosiveness, its all but over.. he will never be the same.
