Trade Deadline ––> Waiver/Buyout Deadline 2015 (March 1)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We can't add Lin if he's not bought out...

I know. But I read reports earlier this week that Lin & LA could discuss a potential buyout.
And if that's the case, I would much rather add him (pg) than McGee (big men).

But let's wait and see what happens until midnight.

I'd drop Jones, Miller, Delly, or Joe for McGee.

So McGee was waived. Should we take a look at him? He would be more valuable than Perkins since he's more mobile, but I doubt we'd waive a guy for him.
Also a question. I know we won't do it, even if the rules allow it, but can you waive a guy that you just signed (like Perkins) or do you have to wait a certain amount of time to waive him?

Only one I can see being waived is Joe Harris. Having 2 stiff bigs really hurts us, we can't waive Haywood and just signed Perk.

Not exactly sure of the rule. But they won't do that to a veteran player like Perkins because he wouldn't be eligible for another playoff team. The Cavs don't want to have a reputation with Veterans for a move like that. They will need minimum signings in the future.
