The Cavaliers are not interested in Marion, unless there are extenuating circumstances.
His contract is the type of deal we'd be looking to acquire... in-fact, it would be perfect. However, this particular deal would cost us... we'd have to take back Banks or James, and likely give-up a first-round pick. Which means we'd also be giving-up talent (probably Sasha).
A more-likely scenario would be acquiring Vince Carter. If the Nets are doing poorly, then Rod may agree to dump Vince for an expiring. Vince would take the place of the guy we traded for him.
