then who is a good fit that is possible??
Oh I don't know
Has the initials M W and rhymes with Wartell Mebster... :chuckles:

Outlaw is not a 2/3. He is a 3/4. You try to play him out of position at the 2, and we would get massively abused. Stupid idea.
Martell Webster is NOT possible and is NOT going to be a Cav. Portland loves the guy and just signed him to a 3-year extension. It's pretty obvious Outlaw is the possible odd guy out in Portland, especially once Webster returns because Batum may be good enough as a backup.
Well moving LBJ to guard would mean that he would basically be Magic. The same height, same ability's only Magic's teams were a hell of a lot better than LBJ's. I would give up Wally if we could get the trade done today. I think that way we could get our chemistry down better.

But hed have to play the 3, moving LeBron to the 2, which LeBron would LOVE by tha way. Hes apparently always told people he wants to be known as a guard.
Naturally the SG should have some handles and Outlaw doesn't. We might be able to cover that up with Bron and Mo, though. He would also run into the same problems that Lebron would if either of them moved to the 2. They would be exhausted from playing defense on some of the SGs in the league. Why can't outlaw play the 2. Some of you guys don't even know what the hell you are saying.
For Outlaw to have a 44% field goal percentage is not bad at all since he operates on the perimeter.
He has a good midrange game, can play with his back to the basket on the mid post. He can space the floor out and knock down shots. He is athletic and very agile, I see him guarding Kobe when the lakers play the trailblazers. He doesn't do a bad job at it, his length will bother alot of people if he guards the 2's for us. Such as Ray Allen, Joe Johnson, Kobe, etc....
Alot of you guys talk about how a SF can't play SG which is PURE NONSENSE. The way Outlaw plays is pretty much how a SG plays. He doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective. Alot of jumpshots are assisted which is good thing since he moves without the ball something we could use on this team next to guys like Lebron and Mo (who do and will do the ball handling).
If we had a shot at Outlaw I would love for Ferry to try and get him.
