Tyreke Evans and Brandon Jennings will test Free Agency next summer

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I can't think of two players (not currently not on the Cavs) that I do not want on the Cavs more than these two. Maybe KG...

Double negatives are sometimes tough to understand. But somehow you've pulled of a Quadrupale-negative and made it work. Props! :)

Seriously, you can argue Jennings and TE aren't good fits on the Cavs, but your dislike for them seems extreme. Jennings will be a premier PG and scorer. He is averaging 8 dimes, 3 steals, and 17 ppg. WHAT”S NOT TO LIKE ? Sure, his FG% is low (low 40’s), but he is only 23 years old. True, while KI is in town, there is no room for a 6’1” PG, but other than the fact that he and KI play the same position I’m not so sure why the hate for Jennings.

Re Ty Evans, he too is only 23 years old. He started at PG, now is at SG, has played alongside some head-cases, and is generally stuck in a bad situation in Sacramento. But he posts very good numbers (2011: 16/5/5, 45 FG%). At 6’6’, 225 lbs, are you saying that Evans would not be a great improvement on Gee? Gee is paid like a back up, and TE srarting at SF, Gee could back up the 2 and 3 spots. TE might be a couple inches shorter then you’d like for a SF (exp with Waiter at 2), but T-Thomson, Zeller and AV (and add a “Big” in 2013 draft) are all good size and defensive minded at the 4 and 5, and don’t demand the ball. Frankly, I’m not sure if Evans is a head case, but he seems like a talent that will bloom if moved outside of Sacramento.

These two guys have Ben Gordon written all over them. Almost as much talent as ego, and no team in the I....I think we have our starters in the back court. The issues are at small forward and frontline depth and Defense.. This is why a healthy Bynum would make sense for us, because he changes the middle just being on court.

Your reference to Bynum brings up an interesting topic....perhaps worthy of a new topic (I'll let board veterans decide). In rehabbing one knee, Bynum now hurt the other...out indefinately. Hasnt played at all for Philly. Sure, when healthy he is a difference maker, but with his health history, and suspect knees, and the cost it would have taken to acquire him last year (Summer Safari), well, anyone thinking we dodged a bullet? Picks, cap space, bodies....for a difference maker center that doesnt play ?

Whatever skills he has, whatever we think he fits in with....Tyreke is a proven NBA caliber talent, and I don't think he'll command the max at all. Not even close. This team needs good NBA caliber players. We currently have 4. Idc if his skills are similar to Dions. Ill never hate having too many skilled ballers on our team. That's a problem we'd rather have than the problem of who we can put out as a starting 5 that won't totally fucking suck

Sign him to a cheap contract, let byron knock him into shape then trade him for what you need due to his increased value and decent contract

Why do I feel like Joe Dumars jumps on both of these guys at a cool $50 million each?

He's one of those head-cases.

Jennings would be beyond pointless.

I wouldn't hang up on Tyreke's agent. He's the type of player that could thrive in the Princeton offense.
