Tyronn Lue has been fired

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You will get zero respect from me disrespecting objectively the best rating.

Look at it Sir Dom. Look at it and realize what you just pissed away

Looks like Lebron's D**K, I'll take it.

Which is disappointing because I was highly anticipating the return of your dog with the Cavs hat avatar.

Just another reason to be pissed off with Lue I guess
Haha I suppose I dropped the ball on that one. If we ever win another one (might have to wait a while) I'll have to make that a priority.

I think Griffin is a big part of the problem

This was his hand picked guy

I think Griff's part of the problem is he went out and got a bunch of one sided offensive players. Add to that he keeps adding to the roster in hopes it will fix the problems without really addressing actual holes in the roster. Korver didn't fill a hole, he was a bandaid while JR was hurt. I don't know what Deron gives at this point. Derrick showed he could help but Lue won't play him. Either Lue and Griff aren't on the same page or they both are just beyond themselves. If Griff adds another poor defender or one sided player Lue won't play in Liggins spot, Gilbert might as well show them both the door.

It'll never happen but I think Frye should start and have TT come of the bench when the playoffs start. It's obvious Sanders isn't going to play so I think they pick up another big with Liggins spot

There are multiple posters who never got on the Lue bandwagon and still aren't. however realistically he wasn't gonna be fired in the offseason nor will he be fired this season.

so the focus is how the Cavs repeat and its all about the same way they won the championship in the first place.. Lebron, Love, Irving and Thompson with big minutes from JR and frye.

Most of us also don't care about the regular season and believe the Cavs can win the championship and refuse to get bent out of shape until that possibility is gone.

Lerbron controls his minutes. Attacking lue for it just shows a lack of understanding of that dynamic.

Liggins should of been sharing minutes with shump as he showed the team could play wellw ith him in the lineup and even offer some advantages.

Derrick is getting the Shawn Marion Treatment. Lue had some ideas for derrick which he quickly scrapped once he got Derron. Lue really didn't have to do that.

Neither Lue nor LeBron gave the 2nd unit a chance to work as a unit post all star break and lue has made no attempts to find an Irving or Love unite that works without LeBron.

and many of us are giving latitude to a first year Head coach that no one bothered to Give David Blatt. as he with Lues help had to do some real coaching to get the team into the finals and take a 2-1 lead until the wheels came off (dehydrated)

What we do know is Griffins firing of blatt over a year later. still doesn't make any sense as the locker room issue and team consistency has gotten worse and not better. Also the Cavs injuries this season still left them as the most talented team on the court many of those nights.

In two games the regular season will be no more and the playoffs will be amongst us. Even if we don't repeat everyone is locked under contract and the Cavs can be looking to improve over the offseason instead of deciding who to retain or seeing who would hold out for that extra couple of million.

This is season as with every season is all on LeBron.

We have one of the best coaching staffs skill wise in the NBA . that staffs biggest impact comes in playoff matchup series.

I would pay a lot to see the press conference after that game if Blatt were still the coach and the Cavs were playing this badly for such a long stretch. That would have been gold cause we all know they don't get the same treatment. He would have been shipped out of town in a KIA sponsored by LeKing.

Tristan Thompson hasn't played the last two games and Derrick Williams still can't buy a minute.

Now, by all rights, I could be in the Derrick Williams thread dancing on graves for all the shit I catch here when I'm wrong about something.

But that wouldn't be fair to Derrick. This idiot of a coach has no earthly what he's doing. To not play Williams a single minute, even when the guys ahead of him are playing like pure dogshit, even when we just need a bit of a spark, and ESPECIALLY when we have injuries in the front court....it's incredible.

This guy is absolutely worse than Mike Brown.

The legend of what the Cavs did last year is growing by the second. NOt only did they have to come back from down 3-1 to beat a 73 win team, they had to do it with this absolute dunce of a head coach. What a miraculous performance the team had in that Finals.

Anybody fired yet?

I must ask, is Lue living with these results? That's his pattened line

lebron deserves SO MUCH credit for the championship last year because he did it without a coach. that ring last year alone puts him on par with MJ in my opionion

He got Bogut. Not Griffin's fault he broke his leg.

The two-way roster talent is better than what we had last year. The coach just doesn't know how to use it.

I may have agreed with this before our GM decided to cut Liggins.

Now I don't think that's the case. Mozgov was more useful defensively than Larry Sanders currently is. Delly was more useful defensively than Deron Williams, by a mile.

We have worse defensive personnel this year than last.

It sucks that Bogut got hurt but Griff and the rest of the organization waited months to fill spots. Even after Mo's contract was unloaded in the Korver deal they waited a long time to fill the spot. They knew they could unload Birdmans contract and waive McRae/Liggins if they needed a spot, yet they waited.

I was saying during that time they should be trying out guys on 10 day contracts and not putting all their eggs into the buyout market. Maybe it was Griff's record of guys meshing easily that held them back but it's coming back to haunt us. If they took a chance on Sanders earlier, maybe he would be ready now. If they hit up a couple point guards or playmakers, maybe one would have meshed better and we wouldn't just be stuck with Deron.

We waited and now we have Deron who doesn't see like a fit, Derrick Williams who Lue wont play, Sanders who isn't ready, and some last second pickup after they waived Liggins today.

I'll give you that, but I'd guess that the decision to cut Liggins was the result of input from Lue. He just wasn't playing the guy.
