I saw LeCharles at our alma mater today (St. Ignatius High School) while I was taking a visit to see a buddy there.. Anyway, I saw him and as an first person observation, he was walking fine without a limp.. He seemed like he was fine putting weight on it and didn't have a problem walking at all..

It was nice to see him stop in and give the kids a visit.. It seemed like when he was talking to them, he had a genuine interest in what they were saying and was asking them questions and so on. It just seemed like he's a really good guy.

Just thought I'd let ya guys know..

I heard he was a massive prick at the Cleveland Clinic and stayed 2 weeks longer then doctors ordered...

And that he was being the biggest vagina in the world about everything..

I guess he could be stringing it out or just staying for extra rehab to make sure his knee is 110%...

:chuckles:

When I had some surgery a couple years ago, I stayed a few extra days.. I had no reason to leave.. Nurses were decent, the jello was good, and they had decent enough cable to get me through the night...

I actually enjoyed it with the exception of the backless nightgown...

Someone on here said they heard a nurse or aide complaining about him staying over 2-3 weeks and how hateful and mean he was and he wasn't approachable at all..

Idk..maybe it was the muscle relaxers..

Did you know Jello registers a pulse..?

No... But I do know Jello jiggles, and it's good.

So does Charles Barkley's ass..I'm not disagreeing Jello is good but..

:dunno:

I heard the knee wasn't responding and that he may need another surgery...in which case he'd miss another season.

lol if his knee wasn't responding then how was he walking?

Laugh all you want, but I know what I'm talking about. There is a huge difference between walking "without a limp" and having his knee heal well enough to handle the rigors of playing in the NFL.

He's going to see a specialist in NY and he'll probably make the call as to whether or not the second surgery is needed.
The story will leak shortly one way or the other.

well all we can do is hope for the best then. we need you lecharles!

BEREA -- LeCharles Bentley is contemplating a second operation on his left patellar tendon and plans to have his knee checked by a specialist in New York, according to a source close to the Browns injured center.

Surgery eight months before training camp starts would make it almost impossible for Bentley to play in 2007 because recovery from patellar tendon surgery usually takes a year.

General manager Phil Savage did not refute the information yesterday when asked about it privately after he spoke to reporters for about 45 minutes, but he did not confirm it, either.

''I can't answer that,'' Savage said. ''We'll talk about that after the year.''

Bentley was the centerpiece of the 2006 free agent class. He made the Pro Bowl two of the four years he played with the Saints. Signing with the Browns was a homecoming for Bentley, a Cleveland native who went to St. Ignatius and Ohio State.

Bentley's patellar tendon was torn on the first play of training camp July 27. The injury deflated the Browns. They have never recovered.

Bentley was operated on in Cleveland Clinic one day after the surgery. The recovery has not gone smoothly. He was hospitalized last month with a staph infection.

Savage said he would have a better fix in February on Bentley's chances of playing in 2007.

Why Bother..

I'm really about done with this team..we spent 5 years drafting bums..now we have a guy who can get good players..problem is they all get hurt..

QB sucks..line sucks..d-line sucks..coaching sucks..

That, or going insane. Tucker just went on the IR for being nutso, of all things.

Oh, and make that 8 years of drafting bums, not 5. Their perpetual failure is long term.
