Sunday, November 13th, 2005
6:00pm ET
Radio : WTAM 1100
TD Waterhouse Centre, Orlando, Florida
Head Coaches
Mike Brown / Brian Hill
Probable Staters
Eric Snow / Steve Francis
Larry Hughes / DeShawn Stevenson
LeBron James / Hedo Turkoglu
Drew Gooden / Dwight Howard
Zydrunas Ilgauskas / Tony Battie
Cleveland Cavaliers Bench
Damon Jones / Sasha Pavlovic / Luke Jackson / Donyell Marshall / Alan Henderson
Orlando Magic Bench
Jameer Nelson / Terence Morris / Pat Garrity / Bo Outlaw / Kelvin Cato
Cavaliers Note's
*The Cavaliers are on a three game winning streak two of them coming at home and one coming on the road against the lowly Toronto Raptors. The Magic are on a two game win streak themselves beating Houston and Charlotte after stumbling out of the gates 0-3.
*How can the Cavaliers fair against a mediocre Eastern
Conference team on the road? Will it be a Raptor repeat? Or will they keep it close.
*Even though they played two Western Conference playoff teams on the road they lost by double digits both times.
*Look for LeBron James to have a big game after being saddled with foul trouble last night and playing just 25-30 minutes.
*Steve Francis always has a big night against us will Larry Hughes be given the task of trying to shut him down or will Eric Snow get him and be torn apart like he was in San Antonio?
*Can Drew Gooden contain Dwight Howard? Howard likes to run and can get up the floor in a hurry his quickness might get Drew in trouble defensively. The Magic are basically the same team as last year, a team we lost and won a few of the games we played with them but it was always close.
CDT Prediction:
Cavaliers offense will be too much for defensive big men Tony Battie and Kelvin Cato to handle.
LeBron will be 25+ points Larry around 20 and Z will have around 15 as well.
Expect the turnovers to be cut down as they aren't very defensive minded outside of Cato and Battie. Thus far when the Cavaliers have a weakness during a game it isn't a weakness come next with Coach Brown on the job.
Cavaliers win two straight on the road crusing 106-91 victory, and head back to the friendly confines of Quicken Loans Arena
