Raptors Notes
After losing their first 2, the Toronto Raptors have won 2 straight. During these 4 games, Charlie Villanueva has been on a tear, averaging 17.3 PPG, proving so far he may have been worthy of a high draft pick. Their 2 losses have been close, one loss in OT. Their first win was an OT victory over the NJ Nets. Their latest win they beat the Celtics by 10, with Rook Joey Graham scoring 20, and Peterson with 21. With Vince Carter gone, Chris Bosh is The MAN on the Raptors. This season may be his year to break out.
Cavaliers Notes
The Cleveland Cavaliers have also won 2 straight, thanks to the return of The Chosen One, recovering from pleurisy. Even not at 100%, LeBron has scored 26 and 30 in the last 2 games, leading the Cavaliers to victory. With 2 games left, its time to start nailing down rotations, giving starters more minutes, and playing to win.
Overview
Obviously, the Raptors are a team the Cavaliers SHOULD beat every time. However so far in the Preseason, the Raptors have shown they will not lie down for any opponent. The Cavaliers must bring it strong and early to squash any hopes of a Raptors win. I predict a big first quarter lead, which is not challenged for the entire game. LeBron has played well vs Toronto, with his 56 career high and his most dominant triple-double performance both @ Toronto. He will have another dominant game, and since my hometown is C-Bus, its a guaranteed victory!
