Wanted: College Hoops 2K13

Am I the only one who would love to have college basketball back on Playstation 3? College Hoops 2K8 was such a great game at the time, and NBA 2K12 has been incredibly successful. EA's license is up with the NCAA and they won't be renewing it. Would it be that hard to just take NBA 2K's game engine, change the features to make them collegiate instead of professional, and roll with it? Am I the only one who would buy this game immediately?

I would buy it, for the 360. But yeah, i miss the college hoops games and hopefully they have it able to transfer draft classes to the NBA 2k games

EA sports stopped production of NCAA Basketball because their sales we're not strong enough. Don't know if that says more about EA or NCAA basketball video games.


I'm sure this time of the year is the time the game would sell the most.

I think it's more about EA...their basketball games are just not very good anymore.

I didn't pick up 2k12 due to the lockout and it not having up to date rosters/rookies upon release

I just downloaded the updated rosters after the draft, and the 2012 & 2013 draft classes from the same guy then made all the moves prior to starting a season...Sounds like a lot of work but it was better than spending full price on a game with out the rooster udpates/rookies for me

Ive had 2k every year since AI was on the cover, I agree this game was probably one of the worst. 2k11 was amazing, granted I strongly disliked My Crew modes with all created players (why not just have separate rooms for My player/and real). 2k12 took a step back, the handling and game play irritate a lot of people, but its something you have to work on. Not to mention, rookie faces havent been uploaded, and there are atleast 2 glitch players per team (Gee from the corner is money. I average 35 with him online, its not even fun anymore). Not worth the money. I should have just played 2k11 with updated rosters.

I'm more interested in a NCAA Football 2k game. NFL 2k5 was amazing.

I could see them adding to MyPlayer mode where you start out in High School, play in the state tournament, get recruited by colleges, play in college to build your stats then are faced with the dilemma of leaving each year. Once you declare for the draft then you can load your MyPlayer over to NBA 2k and continue his career.

But yeah I was just thinking about this same thing. I actually cracked out College Hoops 2k7. Then I realized it was horrible compared to 2k's now a days. Would love to see a new one though.

Update: Someone asked the NBA 2K Twitter account about a college game, and they simply responded by saying they didn't own the license.
