Calm down guys. You call the time out to see if you can bust a big return or get a blocked punt/bad snap on the punt. When you take over at your own 12 with just over a min left, you run out the clock and go into halftime with the lead - especially since we get the ball to start the second half. Pat's made some pretty awful coaching decisions over the past season and a half, but this wasn't one of them. Worst thing you can do there is throw a pick and give Dallas life.

No. If he tries to throw it away it likely turns into a strip or fumble. Sometimes you have to be safe and take the sack. Pocket collapsed on the blind side, not much a QB can do. Not to mention they were likely out of range anyways.
