Thanks for that info. So it's a definite possibility we could win out and still miss the playoffs, which sucks. But we get what we deserve, and that's why I'm salty about our performances in so many winnable games earlier this season. So basically here's what the Browns need...
TO WIN THE AFC NORTH
-Finish 6-0
-Both Cincinnati AND Baltimore to finish 3-3
This one is gonna be tough.
Baltimore Remaining Schedule
vs. Denver, at Pittsburgh, at Cleveland, vs. Atlanta, vs. Pittsburgh, at Cincinnati
Feels like 4-2 and the AFC North division title for the Ravens.
Cincinnati Remaining Schedule
vs. Kansas City, vs. Cleveland, at Tampa Bay, at New England, vs. Buffalo, vs. Baltimore
3-3 feels more realistic here.
TO EARN AN AFC WILD CARD
Let's assume the following...
Kansas City wins the AFC West
Tennessee wins the AFC South
One of Miami/Buffalo wins the AFC East
One of Cincinnati/Baltimore wins the AFC North
One of Miami/Buffalo gets the 1st Wild Card
That would leave 2 Wild Card spots left and the Browns would need the following...
-To finish 6-0 to get to 10-7
And two of the following to happen...
A 2-4 finish by New York to finish 9-8
A 3-3 finish by New England to finish 9-8
A 3-3 finish by the non AFC North winner Baltimore/Cincinnati to finish 10-7
This feels like a more realistic possibility than both Cincinnati and Baltimore going 3-3.
It it what it is.
