Week 2 2019 | MNF | Browns @ Jets

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Do we have an injury report for us? I saw a tweet about no bitonio?

Excited for this one because they either win or I know it's the same old Browns with different faces and I get my Sundays (and occasional Mondays) back. Seriously, if they can't pull this one out the best chance for this season is hopefully being more prepared for next season.

I think the Browns win but it’s ugly and by like one score and everybody remains frustrated.

I agree with this but with the caveat that MY frustrations will be relieved regardless. If we get a win, no matter how gross, I'm fine for a week.

This team is gonna take some time to get where it needs to be. The key is just snagging some wins along the way while we trudge through a tough first half and try to find ourselves.

I won't be frustrated one iota with a close win. It's the NFL, not college football. Whether the team wins by 1 or 31, they all count the same. Fuck it.

During the game, I prognosticate frustration for all.

This has got to be tough for him right now. Everyone will have varying opinions about his choice to play, but I say good for him. At least he's going to have a few moments where he can clear his head for a bit by playing.

There must be no joy. Rest assured, someone will railroad the party if the Browns win. Constant, insufferable criticism is the only thing good for anyone, apparently.

Well, if someone says the Ravens aren't that impressive because they've beat garbage teams, beating the Jets without Darnold or 2 of their best defensive players really isn't all that impressive either.

Not saying that's your opinion but a decent amount of posters do feel like that.

The Falcons looked like absolute hot dogshit in week 1. Ineffective and lost on both sides of the ball. They looked like a completely different team last night and turned in a strong, winning effort against a good team.

I'm thinking the Browns put forth a similar turnaround performance tonight and win handily.

If they truly dug in and went back to work in practice this week, I think we're about to see the team we imagined in the preseason.

There are several teams that looked sloppy in week one who course corrected in week two. Green Bay's offense looked shaky in the Thursday night kickoff, but Rodgers got the offense into the end zone three times in week two. The Niners stumbled their way to a win in week one but Garoppolo saw his passer rating jump from 80% to 131% in week two. I couldn't agree more with your take on the Falcons.

Lots of veteran talented offenses weren't clicking after the preseason but found their groove on Sunday. It doesn't mean the Browns are assured to do the same, but I found the pattern reassuring.

Exactly. In the NFL, sometimes you just get your ass kicked and it's impossible to explain it. Couple that with the the fact that we're young, inexperienced, and extremely early in the season...

I think we're going to come out of this just fine.
