Week 3 (9/17/11) - #17 Ohio St. @ Miami (FL)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If they had no intentions of starting him or he didn't 'earn' the job then why the hell did they waste a potential redshirt year? They wanted him to take over the starting job this year, they just didn't expect Bauserman to be this bad this early.

Why did Tebow play behind Chris Leak instead of shirting?

Because he is going to help you win games, while preppingto take the reigns the next year.

I"m not saying he should be as ready as a senior should. But give him all the first team reps, dumb down the playbook, get behind him and let him go.

You'll see that as the year goes on

They were competing for a championship...

Are you going to tell me the best plan of attack would be to tell any Ohio State team they aren't good enough to compete?

Really?

Florida was an elite team, OSU is not.. Not to mention Chris Leak is a hell of a lot better then Bauserman. The situation isn't even comparable. Wasting a redshirt year to play a guy sparingly on an 8-9 win team is pointless.

And Chris Leak was a good college qb. If we had Chris Leak, I would be fine with playing Miller in certain packages. But we have shit, so dumb down the playbook as much as necessary and get Miller fucking ready to play because he is all we have.

8-9 wins? You are too kind. lol

I'm not sure we win 6 games this year as I think Bauserman is going to continue playing.

Miller is going to play more and more as he grows comfortable in the offense.

If he were ready, he'd be starting...pretty evident he's not.

And quite frankly, you can't just say fuck it and go with a guy you know isn't ready...

Maybe he would be ready if he were getting all the first team reps in practice and the coaching staff showed confidence in the kid. This is the same stupid ass argument you used for not playing Kipnis.

that logic is fine...if the other QB looked any more ready to play, which he doesn't. They might as well run the Wildcat all game if Bauserman is the best option.

He has to earn them.

How can you bash Fickell, then say he should have handed the job to a true freshman who hasn't earned shit.

Hyopcritical logic at best

Thank God that this is Jim Bollman's last year. That guy is a freaking horrible offensive coordinator. Also doesn't help that Tressel was pretty much the QB coach for his entire tenure. Siciliano was simply a warm body to put in that position.

But Bauserman has earned the job? No matter what, the qb wasn't going to earn the job, so just play the one guy who actually has talent.

i think this is really our only option.
