Week #7 - Denver Broncos @ Cleveland Browns (-4.5) - 8:20 p.m. on Fox

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If this team is ever 7-4 or 8-3 this year, yall better be throwing a fucking party.

It would mean that we’d have to collectively be wrong about either Baker or the defense.

One has to change for us to get to that

I don't think it's a tough task.

Denver's line is bad, very bad. They can't score, but they play defense. The last 2 weeks they scored in garbage time, they lost to Pittsburgh and Balitmore already. If we don't beat Denver, season over because it's going to be a 6-11 season.

Pittsburgh had to go gut a OT win vs Geno Smith at home. That's not a circled win to you?

Detroit is going 0-17 or 1-16, they look beyond horrible. That's not a circled must win game to you?

New England is having their troubles on offense and by God if Mac Jones beats out Baker...

Cincy is the only convincing loss in this stretch.

My QB has a torn labrum, my entire offense is based around a running attack that is now neutered with multiple tackles hobbled and both running backs out. Two of my top 3 WRs are in question, JOK is on IR, and this team seems incapable of playing a game without multiple new injuries. On top of that, this defense looks foolish even when it’s healthy vs any offense with a pulse.

So no, I haven’t circled any wins tbh. :chuckle:

They really need Conklin to get back badly,,Hance aint great on the left side but he's not putrid.
Hudson just isn't ready to play yet and he's going to get Baker killed.

Yeah, well Baltimore lost their entire RB depth chart and turned the clock back to 2016 and called on reinforcements, they lost defensive players too. Their so called best WR coming into the season played his first game. Spare me the injury cries, every team is dealing with them.

This team once carried on the "Next man up" motto. Heard it all last year. Heard it some this year.

I just don’t buy the circling wins or losses hype.

The Jets game last year was a lock to win until it wasn’t.

Steelers were 11-0. What were the chances they’d get crushed at home - in the wildcard round - by the Browns?

NFL is week to week.

Vegas has us favored?! They did predict 13-4 at start of season.

No OTs, RBs, hobbled QB...

Defense can't get their head out of their collective rears.

3-4.
Idk how you don't bet against cle here

Baltimore still has its best RB healthy.

Acting like injuries Aren’t impacting the season is disingenuous. But I also think it’s beside the point I was making.

They also just lost their LT.

By all rights, if the Browns were healthy, they would crush the Broncos. They are bad on both sides of the ball.

If the Browns get any sort of improvement on 3rd down defense, I don't know how Denver is anything but a sitting duck on offense. And their defense looks lost right now. They aren't playing well at all right now.

While I would certainly prefer to win on Thursday, and I think it's a game the Browns can win, I wouldn't throw dirt on the season if they lose.

I expect Chubb, Wills, Conklin and Landry to all be back for Pittsburgh. Those are four difference makers offensively.

My thoughts are that the Browns season was always going to hinge on the back to back games against Baltimore on either side of their bye week..

If the Browns can stay within 2 games of Baltimore and then win both those games, then the Browns are in the drivers seat.

If the Browns can't stay within two games of Baltimore before that, then there's no reason to expect them to win those games anyway.

If our current team can't beat Denver's current team then we won't be beating anybody significant. Which is why it's a must win game, there won't be an easier matchup, well besides Detroit. There's a reason why Browns were favored -6.5, then to -3, now to -1.5. We are still the better team, the defense alone should carry the win, Stefanski needs to put a masterpiece together.

Must win, get to 4-3 and hopefully Baker's inflammation goes down during the rest period.

I have a feeling the defense is going to need to carry this team to a win.

Glad I picked this game to drive up and go see... :(

Cardinal game was my first live game in 15+ years. Flew up from Florida for the weekend with my wife. Everything about the city, stadium, fans, was AWESOME. except for the play on the field.

Stadium was such an awesome experience. Even though the game was a shit show, the fans were in it and loud the whole first half. You'll have a blast either way.

Wills and Conklin were both listed as limited participants on today's practice report, so I guess that's something. Hope they're both able to play but even just one would be nice.
