This is the time of year when us Browns fans stop caring right? I need to find other things to do than waste 3 hrs of my day off.

Usually about this time. In a month, it'll be time to start thinking seriously about our championship: The 2012 Draft!!

4 fumbles....jesus fuck

Nice one colt. 9 seconds to go and your thow a 6 yard dump. Keep pouting buddy, a shit ton of this is on you.

That Cribbs TD was a horrible pass, he shouldn't have to come back and turn for something like that, it needs to be in stride. Granted he hasnt gotten protection worth a damn all season. So I cant criticize him without going after the line as well. We need to use one high pick on a RT to seal off that side. Then use the hiher of our two picks on a WR playmaker. Hillis has failed to earn his check, he hasnt been playing so hes only hurting his own pockets. I personally havent ever been a huge fan of him, but i appreciate his work ethic. He should get a few mil but nothing spectactacular. Were still 1 draft away from a solid team. and If Colt isnt the guy I have no problem drafting someone else because I am sick of hearing he needs experience. Dalton, Gabbert, Newton, all look way better than he does right now. If he doesnt have the overall talent he needs to step up somewhere else.

The wait now begins for the next ELPRESADOR rant video...

My sarcastic game summary:

That was a great ending to a great game, we almost had them when Colt threw it in the middle of the field with 8 seconds to go down 10. We really fought hard, we just weren't able to pull it out in the end. The offense looked solid throughout the game and the defense really stopped them when needed. The offensive line was very disciplined and continued to give the quarterback the time needed in the pocket. Colt looks very sharp and our receivers are top notch. We have solid wins against very solid teams and have fought hard against the good teams. Don't worry Browns fans our future looks very bright.

Just out of curiousity, does ANYONE on this board believe that Colt should be our starter in 2012 or that it's "too soon to tell?"

I don't, but I also think his struggles are in part do to a poor line, lack of playmakers, crappy playcalling, and learning a new system. I think H & H will have to reassess the entire direction of our offense. We don't have a QB, WRs, RBs, or an OL. It's piss-poor in so many ways, and alot of things are working against our young QB.

In my mind we need a new QB, a true #1 RB and WR, and some serious upgrades to our OL. Oh yes, and an offensive coordinator. An offensive coordinator would definitely be something to think about it. Ya know, to coordinate our shitty f*cking offense.

You know, I am reading lots of stuff about players such as McCoy, and the O line, the playmakers, if any, etc on offense, the WR's. Not much about the coaches or coach. Our defense is very much good enough to win most games. It held this team to 3 or 4 and outs for almost the entire 2nd half today. That's pretty good. The D has been good for most games this year.

The offense blows. The entire offense blows. I mean most everything about the offense blows.

I've asked this a few times now, but when does this become more than a player or two or three on offense, and a hard look at whoever is designing/scheming this offense week to week to week? As far as we know, Holmgren is letting Pat Shurmur do most everything on offense. Holmgren has stated he doesn't give any input as to plays, etc and just lets Shurmur do his own thing.

When do you all look at Shurmur and think something is just not right? Is McCoy really as bad as we think he is? If our offensive line really this bad? Our receivers? Are the players on offense this bad period? Really?

IDK.

I understand the prevent defense, etc, but why is it we seem to start moving the ball when he are in a hurry? The shotgun seems to work most of the time. The no huddle seems to work. Why can't we start off games doing this? Heck, we can always switch up, right? This pathetic offense is so damn predictable. It's sickening to watch. It's hard for me to believe ALL the players on offense are really this damn bad.

What a sorry game. What a sorry, sorry offense.

What a sorry Head Coach.

Nothing about the offense excites me. Notthing. Even The Dolphins (Brandon Marshall), Rams (Steven Jackson), and Colts ( Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark) have players that can at least get them excited about the upcoming game.

There's not a position on the team that doesn't need upgraded, imo. So it's a chicken/egg thing. Do the coaches suck? I think so, but how can we even tell???? The scheme isn't good, but the line can't hold protection for more than a 3-step drop. The running game is weak, no matter who's running. So we try those soft-ass swing passes that get blown up.

I don't know what the answers schematically, but we need some talent, STAT.
