It was at the Chevy Center in Ytown. Really an amazing show. We got there late and missed most of the opening act (Norah Jones) which wasn't a big deal. As soon as we walked in she was wrapping up and out on stage comes Perry Farrel to perform "Stop!". It was a real treat and surprise to see him. Sheryl Crow followed. No comment. Didn't even watch her really lol. Then Ben Harper performed and he was awesome. Great vocalist, great gutairist, and a great musician overall. He played "Under Pressure" to open and it was incredible.
The Beastie Boys headlined and needless to say they put on one hell of a show. The crowd really dug them. Ben Stiller ended up making an appearance as well, showing up on stage randomly and singing along. Their encore was Sabotage and it was one of the coolest things I've ever witnessed.
Just a really really good show. Don't know if any of you guys happened to attend/heard of it but it definitely was a cool thing to see.
