Cleveland Cavaliers
1. LeBron James -- after all, you can't take the mother lode for granted. We are all witnesses to something happening in Cleveland for the first time since Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.
2. They were fortunate to have all that cap space available with so many jewels on the market. Larry Hughes was the loveliest of consolation prizes after missing out on Michael Redd.
3. Zydrunas Ilgauskas' once-brittle feet continue to hold up. Someone get the name of their podiatrist.

Was bored at work, trying to find any Cavaliers reading, this scratched the itch just a little. Sportsline's Tony Mejia lists 3 things each team can be thankful for, even the Hawks. I like the Bone Thugs comment- gee I miss them :bigcry: Not exactly groundbreaking but I'll take some positivity over Charley "Lebron James must die" Rosen any day. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Yes, I am very thankfull for each of those things. Especially landing Larry Hughes. It's nice to finally see someone other than LeBron scoring over 20 points per game on any given night.

Did the Cav's miss out on Redd, or tell him they were thinking of moving in a different direction. Most media sources make it seem that we lost out on him. It's a small point, but i don't view Huges as a consolation prize. He seems a more well rounded running mate for James. I'm thankful for everything on the list, but don't see him as a consolation prize.

Redd came here and had dinner with Ferry then toured the arena the next day. No contract was ever offered. Brown went to Larry's house and loved his passion. Larry wanted to play here, he was going to be 12M cheaper than Redd or Allen, he was a better fit for Brown's system....Ferry and Brown made him #1. Allen was never offered a contract either. And I am thankful today that Atlanta was part of the worst trade in history for Joe Johnson and not Cleveland.

The Cavs are thankful they have me as a fan!
