Who else do you think goes this year. I think Victor is a lock to be gone, probably Kerry Wood too. I hope Peralta gets out of here some how, but don't know if it'll happen.

This sucks:(

VMart to Boston for Bucholz and a prospect.
Peralta, hell, maybe they package VMart and Peralta to Boston. They need a SS as well.
Shoppach hopefully. Wood will be here.

Victor, Caroll and Pavano are gone IMO.

Peralta and Shoppach could be traded if someone wants them.

oh, forgot about Pavano. I'll be shocked if he's still around.

They might keep Pavano around for the simple fact no one wants him and he can eat some innings down the stretch.

Does anyone else feel like Harry Dolye here? I think I'm going to sneak a bottle in my desk to handle all the upcoming "trades"

I think Victor and Jamey Caroll will be gone for sure. Pavano maybe. Kerry Wood and Fausto have a slight chance.

Agree with this, and I'll throw in Wood. It makes no sense for the Indians to keep a $10M/yr closer when they are rebuilding/cutting payroll. Now, we'll see if anyone wants him by Friday. If not, he's gone this off season, IMO.

We would never get Bucholz for Vmart straight up. Weren't definitely wouldn't get another prospect.

Wood has almost no value. His contract is huge and he hasn't be performing.

There's always a market for a proven closer... I'd be shocked if Wood isn't traded.

Didn't boston shoot down a Bucholtz for Victor swap?

We'll see. I'm doubting he gets traded..

If he does, don't expect much. Probably Wood and Cash for a lower level prospect and/or a PTBNL.

Yeah, I don't think we'll get much for him. It would be purely a salary-dump. In fact, some team may want to swap closers with us. That would be funky.
