also, you missed the larger picture. Kobe doesn't even trust his best teammate, LeBron trusts even his worse teammate. Which approach is better for long term team success?

And you way underrate LeBron's defense while way overrating the defense Kobe plays. LeBron has played statistically better defense than Kobe this year.

Kobe is a far better defender. Thats a given. Offensively James gets the nod as his game is far more versatile.

With the Lakers game vs Sacramento, Kobe unjustifiedly blew up at Odom for taking a better shot, rather then pass to him for a tough quickfire hurl.

I can just imagine the blowup if Ilgauskas passes up an open j, to pass to a demanding James on the perimeter for a tough J. Everyone would be ripping Z for passing it, and James for demanding it.

You cant have it both ways.
