Spain is still a threat. The Spanish coach fucked up when he went with a 3 man defense against Holland. Holland plays direct, fast pacy football unlike tiki-taka Spain. Also It would make more sense to start Fabergas along with Alonso in the Central Midfield position when you are playing a 3 man defense. And the fact that Iker Cassilas played like shit did not help.

I expect Spain to come back and qualify in the group. Their squad is just too strong. Having said that, That Van Persie first goal was AMAZING !!!! I was likeHOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT for quite a while! It has to be a contender for best goal of the world cup !!!

England Vs Italy ? Anyone fancies the Cockneys over the pasta primaveras ?
 
,nobody is talking about dark horses Belgium? I'm from and living in Belgium and the whole country is going nuts. We have one of the most talented and younger team, I guess we are the gsw of football. Can't wait to get started, I hope we reach the quarter final and play France...

Belgium does not have the necessary experience. You may have the best goalkeepers in this world cup and a solid defense but I dont know how good ur attack is going to be. Dembele is not exactly a super mighty force and Lukaku is coming of an injury. Only Hazard and Janusai have the necessary 'X' factor that can shape the game. I think Belgium would me more ripe for the next world cup but for this one I think your team is more like a paper sun.
 
I don't believe we'll go any further than the quarter, which would already be quite an accomplishment with such a young team. Euro 16 and next cup is our target. But we have a top 3 keeper, top 5 defense and top 5 mid already. With benteke, our forward is prolly top 10, without him we are gonna struggle scoring against tight defenses... But this team is just too much fun to watch, so much potential

And you are severely Over rating Januzaj... Hazard and de bruyne are our X factors. De bruyne will take epl by storm sooner than later

That guy is timeless! And it did not help for England that Wayne Rooney played like utter crap either.

I would have subbed him in the 70th minute for Barkley. That guy was a waste of space and chance.
 
Rooney had a beautiful assist though. Golden opportunity missed: if he had done better with that shot he would have been motm. Oh well he didn't.
