Anybody put extensive time into this expansion? I quit playing after high school, which was still Cataclysm. I had no interest in going off to college still playing WoW. Made the right call there. Anyway, buddy from home is trying to talk me into playing for the summer. My job is easy so it wouldn't interfere. The vast majority of my social group isn't coming home for the summer because they're working internships and co-ops. I need to do something to pass the time and I used to really enjoy WoW back in Burning Crusade and most of Wrath. Just wanted to know if this new expansion is as good as some have cracked it up to be.
Leveling from 85-90 is getting reduced by 33% in the next patch (probs next week) as well, so that's another reason I'm somewhat interested. Ideally I'd be raiding 2 weeks from now.
EDIT: I was totally content to wait for The Elder Scrolls Online but it's looking like that will be September at earliest. Kind of defeats the purpose of what I want a vast, immersive game for at the moment.
