You don't understand how the game works so this all sounds reasonable to you.

Of course WoW is addicting in the same sense Starcraft, Halo, or Pacman is for players but people do not mortgage their home for this game.

if you actually played them they're like,extremely different.(i only played WoW twice at a friends,i've seen what its done to people and didnt wanna get involved
i used to play runescape when i was alot younger..
its vastly changed and its a shit-hole now,as much crap as it gets from people it was a ton of fun.
In the past like 2 years since the new staff took over its turned into a piece of crap.
I started playing before slayer was even around,that was probably the golden age for the game.the grand exchange pretty much threw it into a big black hole and killed the whole game.

Ya I played it back when there was a legit wilderness and no one gave a shit about real world trading. All i did on that game was PK. Once they took it away, i stopped. I had a hell of a pk account too.
