- A source in the WWE locker room notes that officials are worried Fandango is getting a bit of an ego backstage. They are impressed with his in-ring work but are worried that the ego may become a problem. However, word is that they continue to be impressed with his commitment to his character and feel he is in better shape each week.

- Chris Jericho continues to make it known that he’s open to putting over some of WWE’s younger talents, such as Fandango. He has expressed interest in working with Curtis Axel.

-WWE officials are now interested in recruiting more international talents. This is another Triple H change.

-Officials have had discussions about whether or not it would be in WWE’s best interest to try and reach a developmental deal with an overseas wrestling promotion or if it would be better to just scout some of the bigger companies in Japan and Mexico.

I keep loving what I'm hearing in regards to Triple H's changes.

Dangerous territory. These promotions could get really pissed and nix a deal if they don't put over their guy.

Couldn't agree more on Triple H. He seems to "get it", in regards to the talent they are bringing in lately. From articles I've read on PW Observer and BR, Ryback and Fandango are Vince McMahon kind of prospects, where as The Shield and Curtis Axel are Triple H prospects. Needless to say I'm more of a fan of the "Triple H guys". He is saving the company IMO.

Speaking of prospects.. I'm very intrigued by Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt family after that vignette that aired on Raw. I've heard good things from Wyatt's work in NXT and this could be a stable to compete with The Shield. Possibly be a PG era version of DX/Nation (wishful thinking).

Chris Jericho is the f'n man. The company needs another 20 guys like him. I think he will end up wrestling, and putting over, Curtis Axel at Payback instead of CM Punk. I think Punk will return in some capacity at Payback as it's in his hometown, but I dont see how a rushed feud and match with Jericho makes sense for his awaited return.

In regards to Fandango developing an ego. That's too bad. He is entertaining on the mic and in the ring despite the god awful character they stuck him with. It's already grown stale to me, and I'm not looking forward to him likely becoming Intercontinental Champion this month either. Only upside to it is hopefully Wade Barrett and The Miz move on to bigger and better things, like a Money in the Bank briefcase.

- As noted, Ryback vs. John Cena at WWE Payback is now Three Stages of Hell with the following stipulations – a Lumberjack Match, a Tables Match and an Ambulance Match.

The change was made because Vince McMahon wants to do something epic with Cena, something that will be a memorable point in his career.

As of this week, the match is not being done to prolong the Ryback vs. Cena program, although they have nothing specific in place for Cena’s long-term booking.

Oy vey. Hell, Cena's been superman his entire career, that isn't "epic" enough??

Great, so Ryback get squashed, put in an ambulance, nobody takes him seriously again (not that they do now anyway), and Super Cena moves on to the next (regurgitated) victim. Yaay. :chuckles:

Sadly, I think Cena is a better wrestler then Goldberg anyways.

Big Signing for TNA
Dixie Carter posted the following on Twitter today…

And the ink is just drying on a BIG free agent that will rock #ImpactLIVE on @SpikeTV. Tune in & join us on this summer adventure.

I really hope it's not RVD, but it might be.

So, Kurt Angle will be the 2nd guy inducted into the TNA HOF...

1.) Why do they have a HOF already? They're clearly not established enough, nor have enough of a history to start one.

2.) Angle over some of the guys that have been there since day 1?? Wow.

I think it has to do with his pedigree and that his contract is coming up soon. They'd like him to stay.

So Batista and MVP have both denied that the big free agent is them. Everyone is starting to think Johnny Nitro. He's a guy that wanted to work a lighter schedule and WWE doesn't have lighter schedules to their regular guys. Of course they make exceptions for guys like the Rock, Undertaker, ect...

Having one a year is much better than 4-5.

Also, I don't really like TNA's product, but I watched last night for AJ/Styles (ended up watching the same thing). Probably better than any WWE ppv this year by a long shot. The Last KO Standing match? Best TV Wrestling womens match in years and nothing even comes close. The ACE Crusher off the stage was probably one of the best moments in wrestling in quite a while, just because it involved two KO's. That's a big time spot.

Not my point. I don't really have a problem doing 1 a year, my beef is that they're not credible enough of a promotion to even have a HOF at this point.

WWE can put guys in who haven't been in their organization or only had small runs, because they own the rights to those promotions.

It says a lot when guys like Goldberg (who hates WWE) say they'd never join the promotion & make fun of how few fans watch it. And when guys like Batista, who's had his fair share of beef with WWE's product, say stuff like "I'd never go there, I'm WWE through & through"..

They're just not credible and haven't been around long enough to warrant a HOF.

Not to offend anyone who watches or follows TNA... but outside of Sting, Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, and I guess Chavo Guererro (who I'm assuming are all pretty much washed up at this point in their careers) what do they have going for them? I'm sorry, but I can't buy into a wrestling promotion that has Bubba Ray Dudley as it's World Heavyweight Champion. I grew up in the WWE Attitude and Ruthless Aggression era and will always think of him as a tag team, mid card wrestler.

Going back to Fandango and developing an ego backstage... after tonight I have to say I get it. Having that sexy ass Summer Rae chick wrapped all over you wearing next to nothing every night would have the most humble man walking around like he's the shit.

So you're just naming guys you know from WWE. They have plenty of talent they developed. AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, James Storm, and Bobby Roode. They also have Austin Aeries and Abyss.

Seriously, their women's division is a lot better then WWE's and the tag division they seem to be building up, unlike WWE. They also have the X-Division, which is like the cruiserweight division in a way, but more modern.

And as far as going to the live events, I hear it's a much more fan interactive event. For instance those who are in the front row get a meet and greet with the wrestlers. You feel as though you can start chants and be actually heard on TV even if there's a small minority chanting it. You also get two shows for the price of one.

Not my point. I don't really have a problem doing 1 a year, my beef is that they're not credible enough of a promotion to even have a HOF at this point.

It just depends who you are and where you're at in your career. There's plenty of guys that say they'd never go to TNA. That's fine, but they have lighter schedules, which saved years from Kurt Angles career. Edge might have benefited the same way, if he ever went there.

Johny Nitro wanted a lighter schedule, so he left. Which leads to me to believe he might be their new signing. CM Punk took a break because of the schedule.

It's also worth noting, I don't trust anything said on twitter involving contracts, unless it's something announced by Dixie Carter or TNA's handle. I don't think it is Batista that's the big FA, but I feel it could be MVP and he dismissed it on twitter as well.

Also, I don't really like TNA's product, but I watched last night for AJ/Styles (ended up watching the same thing). Probably better than any WWE ppv this year by a long shot.

I agree, but that's the two best workers TNA has in the ring. That's not taking away anything from the rest of their roster either. Those two were expected to be the match of the night and they delivered.

The Last KO Standing match? Best TV Wrestling womens match in years and nothing even comes close. The ACE Crusher off the stage was probably one of the best moments in wrestling in quite a while, just because it involved two KO's. That's a big time spot.

That match was epic. Probably one of the best women's division matches I've ever seen. The best part was WWE copied them tonight with Cena and that chair on the turnbuckle.

The tag match had it's shitty parts, but I felt it held its own after the hooplah died down. I fully expect Storm and Gunner to hold those belts for a while, seeing as Storm is pretty much the king of tag teams in TNA.

I also surprisingly enjoyed the main event as well, even after a great match between Styles and Angle. The crowd was still around. Unlike when the WWE puts on an epic match there's always a let down following it.

Styles, Joe, and Aries were developed by Ring of Honor. Styles, Joe, and Aries are three of the top seven in ROH ever, and all of them were influential in keeping ROH afloat. TNA survives without Styles, Joe, or Aries. ROH doesn't.

1. Danielson
2. Nigel
3. Punk
4. Joe
5. Aries
6. Generico
7. Styles

Daniel Bryan last night, my goodness. Two matches, both of which were great. That Ryback match was incredible though.

I love this new character progression angle they are pushing with Bryan. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Rampage Jackson signed by TNA and Bellator.
