So today was the day I had to renew my xbox live gold account. Usually this is 49.99 for the year, but I noticed they raised the price to 60 some dollars.. Im pissed this happened, I mean what was the reason for the change in price?

The shitty part is that they aren't even giving us any added benefits. That is why I get all of my live codes online. I paid $30 Canadian for my last year subscription.

Oh I didn't realize they didn't add Last.Fm, Netflix, Zune or ESPN. Two of which are free. Didn't know that.

Yes and you get what you pay for. PS3 online is shit... absolute shit. You can't talk to a friend without going into a one person chat when you're not playing with them. You can't have multiple people in the chat (like party) and you can only send text messages. No voice messages, shit's primitive!

You have obviously never played much online PS3. The servers are better or the same on most games, the overall quality of the system is better too. Xbox you either play games or go on netflix, PS3 you can do that and go on the internet because the PS3 is a computer as well. Much better overall system, and I own both so i'm not biased. Plus you don't have to worry about owning your system for twoo weeks and it breaking down.

I had a full year over his and I don't think the slims are having problems. The newer xbox consoles have new chipsets and various upgrades to fix the problem you're talking about. I've never played Killzone, the only games that Xbox has over PS3 is Fable, and Fable 2 I didn't even really like and Ihaven't bothered with 3 yet. Halo is terrible imo, it's fun for a few hours and then it becomes stupid. PS3 has games like GOW that blow the 360 out of the water. And the browser doesn't suck, I admit it isn't the same thing you get on a computer but it is better than the browser you get on your xbox.\

And I have had to buy 2 360's and only one PS3 to replace the broken ones. My freind who swears by the 360 has had to buy three of them. I like both systems, but 10/10 I would recommend the PS3 over the 360.

And you enjoy Halo, just keep playing the same thing over and over and over again but pay 60 bucks for a "brand new" version of the game.
