the yankees have 2 of the biggest choke artists on their team in CC and A-rod Im not about to grant them a trip to the world series yet. though the angels have looked like crap.

I'm taking the Yankees in 5... They'll throw the Phillies a bone somewhere in there around game 3 or 4.. But, unfortunately, I don't see the Yankees getting the chance to celebrate in the stadium.. They'll have to do it in Philly..

Hmmm, tough one.

Offensively, the nod goes to the Phillies. More complete offense, just as much power but some speed too. Pitchingwise, I like the Yankees- better bullpen and deeper rotation. I think the series, apart from the Lee/Sabathia matchups, will be a slugfest. Whoever has the more dynamic offense wins. My early nod is towards the Phillies, but it is only a slight one. Two good teams going at it, we will see.

As much as I dislike the idea of the Phillies winning yet again, I can't bring myself to pick the Yanks. Phillies in seven. The Yankees choke and blow it. Cliff Lee beats CC in three of the seven games.
