Here's a thread to discuss who would like the Browns to draft or who you think they will draft... Post your predictions on here and there will be a little contest... I know it will be heard with picks in the 4th, 5th and 6th round but we'll try...
You get 1 point for picking the right school, 2 points for picking the right position of the player and 5 points for getting the correct player... Pretty simple? Yeah, but just for a little bragging rights...
Here are the Browns picks:
4th Round: 122
5th Round: 155
6th Round: 190
7th Round: 231
Here's mine...
----------------------------------------------------------------
The Browns supposedly will go either the best cornerback available or the best outside linebacker available... Right now at this spot, it looks like Davis will be the guy that should be floating around this pick and has been a guy of a lot of interest of the Browns... The Browns won't necessarily be looking for a complete player with this pick but a player that contribute and will give them something that their missing... And what they're missing is a pass rusher and Davis should be able to fill that immediately... With another threat needed opposite of Wimbley and the linebacking core being somewhat of an uncertainty next year, I think this is a solid pick...
Other possibilties: Orlando Scandrick, CB, Boise State; Ezra Butler, LB, Nevada; Antwaun Molden, CB, Eastern Kentucky; Jonathan Goff, LB, Vanderbilt
If the Browns go with an outside linebacker with the first pick, I'd expect them to go with a cornerback with the next pick and vice versa... Bowman was a guy that was hurt last year with a torn ACL and has injuries throughout his career that has caused him to slide down draft boards... But with that said, he has the talent and ability of a 1st rounder and was projected there before last season... His knees have been checked out okay and even though this may be a big risk, it could pay out big time....
Other possibilities: Vince Redd, LB, Liberty; Frank Okam, DT, Texas; Kendall Langford, DT, Hampton; Stanford Keglar, LB, Standford
The Browns really need a big body for some depth on the defensive line and Hayden would be a solid fit... He's a big active player that holds up against the run well... He won't 'wow' you or develop into a starter but he could probably be a very dependable role player, which the team currently needs...
Other possibilities: Brian Kehl, LB, BYU; Jeremy Geathers, LB, UNLV; Lionel Dotson, DT, Arizona; Keilen Dykes, DT, West Virgina
This kid is too good, too versatile, too talented and has too much upside to pass on him at this point... He played 4 different positions--I believe--in college and would be able to play 3 different ones in our system... Late in the draft you look for versatile players that fit your system and could develop into something and that is exactly what he is... He'd be a great value pick here...
Other possibilities: Darius Reynaud, WR, West Virgina; Xavier Omon, RB, SW Missouri State; Titus Brown, OLB, Mississippi State; Louis Holmes, DE, Arizona
