It doesn't take talent to play the right way. If they won't play the right way now, how do you expect them to do it when they get some players in here? This team has enough talent to be competitive and win some games if they play good offense and defense. They just don't give a fuck anymore since the Heat emasculated them.
 
Varejao with 11 rebounds. Imagine if we moved him to Boston and got some other (stupid team) to take on Jermaine O'Neal to create room for Andy. That guy coming off the bench with Glenn Davis..my god, they'd absolutely run 2nd units off the court with energy and passion.
 
The starting lineup isnt doing badly. It is just our 2nd unit (with the one man wrecking machine Jawad) sucks A LOT.

Disagree totally. They don't have enough talent to play good offense and good defense. I'm not sure what playing the right way means, but I do know a team more talented can make a team less talented look silly on both ends of the court and it really doesn't have much to do with desire.
 
These guys have steadily regressed since the loss to Lejerkoff..... I guess they just don't have what it takes between the ears to be professional athletes. These guys might as well be sitting next to me on the couch.....

You know things are terrible when people are on here talking about how sweet our guys would be if we traded them to another team..ha

agree completely....a team with no talent cannot "outwork" a talented team. talent always wins.

no this team does not have enough talent to comete - you are delusional if you think this team has talent. at every position on our roster our players rank at the bottom of the league when compared to other players at the same position. in terms of talent, we have the worst roster in the league....no doubt about it at all.

other than the chicago game, when is the last time this team got a 50-50 ball?

And these are the same guards we had last year. Last year we allowed our opponents to shoot just .347 from 3, this year we are a league worst allowing .414. That's not about LeBron, that's about effort. Effort that has only been there 1 game since LeBron went off on us in the heat game.

Then I guess the Cavs had no talent last season.

You need more than talent. You need guys that understand and can execute the coach's gameplan. You need depth. You need guys who play with heart. You need guys that play together as a team.

I agree that we need more talent, but that's not the only reason we're on a horrible losing streak right now.
 
A team that lacks talent can totally win games with D. Ask last years bobcats, and the 2007 cavs.

heh...yeah but we had one player who was the most talented player in the league...he carried the team. one extremely talented player can make up for a lack of talent elsewhere.

it wasn't all talent...but it was mostly talent.



we can't hit shots on offense - that is a talent issue.

we also don't have a big man who can jump and defend the paint - that is a talent issue.

we have small guards who are too short to guard SG's - that is a talent issue.



all of these problems explain why we suck...they are talent issues.
