The new episode of Wolf Among Us was pretty great. Can't wait for the finale in two months.
This was the first Telltale game I've ever played where literally every one of my choices (except one, which was 50% even) was in the minority compared to other players. Granted, I doubt a lot of people had finished the game as of last night, but it was still weird.
Oh yeah, and what little I got to play of Watch Dogs last night was really fun too. I did a mission where I had to infiltrate and hack a cTos station that was heavily guarded. I took out all but three of the guards just by jumping from camera to camera and setting off environmental traps or detonating explosives that some of the guards had on them, then easily swooped in and picked off the last three without being spotted. Just a really fun experience.
The downside, of course, is that I've read a lot of the missions tend to devolve into GTA-style shoot-em-ups, which is disappointing. I'd much prefer a game that focused on stealth and using technology to beat enemies than another generic GTA experience, but it is what it is. Maybe Ubi will learn their lesson in the inevitable prequel, since the rampant shooting segments seem to be the major source of complaint that I've read in various reviews.
Yeah I did this mission yesterday too. Using the cameras us an amazing way to do stuff, and is the best part about the game to me. Such a fresh take compared to gta.
Yeah it is officially called BF: Hardline. Ea announced it yesterday. Seems like an interesting take on a BF game, and they have some sort of heist mode, apparently.
