Recap?Windy was fairly positive today about cavs
Recap?Windy was fairly positive today about cavs
I disagree with the LeBron losing explosiveness due to aging comment....I witnessed him throwin down quite a few sky flying dunks at St V St M gym not much more than a month ago...
I'm very skeptical about Miller.
He hasn't played the last two games which have happened to be blowout wins and suddenly he's going to be starting? The defense is just starting to gel and throwing in a poor defensive player right now into more minutes doesn't make much sense
One point Windy made that I found interesting in this week's show was about how Kyrie is basically playing the role we expected Dion to play -- the offensive sparkplug for the bench players. When Lebron is out Kyrie looks to get his and make up for lost time, so he becomes a major gunner. Watching the Indiana game now and you can see that dynamic of Lebron and Kyrie taking turns on offense with KI turning it up when Lebron is out. It's kind of working for us.
windy was on first take today w skip and stephen a
- Huge praise for Kyrie and his defense
- Talked about Andy starting taking offense away from Love
- Stephen A still isn't sold on the Cavs yet, doesn't like Kevin Love says he's a question mark
- Windy said the Heat were boring to cover but the Cavs are really exciting to watch or cover
- Stephen A ripped on Cleveland saying he misses South Beach, blah blah blah (even though they chanted his name when Sports Center was in CLE)
- Everyone agreed Lebron was dogging it and now is trying harder and leading
- Stupid talk about Lebron not doing the chalk toss again
- Windy thinks Lebron and Kyrie will clash as this moves along and the marriage won't last forever (doesn't give a ton of reasoning why)
- Windy does like Kyrie chucking and scoring when Lebron sits.
- Windy emphasized Kyrie signed with Cavs thinking this would be his team going forward
- All three guys agreed Lebron is now the true point guard of the team and demands ball control
- Windy doesn't think Lebron listens to or cares about David Blatt's success. Thinks Lebron doesn't care who the coach is and has not bonded to him.
- Windy said Lebron has made it clear he wants to play for a guy who's played in the league.
- Windy says the Cavs are moving in the right direction but wouldn't commit to them winning the east this year

So let me guess Windy, Lebron wouldn't want to play for Pop since he never played in the leauge?
Dude, Windy's point was on balance LBJ would rather play for a former player. I am sure if LBJ had the opportunity to play with Jackson or Pop he would pick them.So let me guess Windy, Lebron wouldn't want to play for Pop since he never played in the leauge?
