Anyone else have a feeling that GS will not really adjust from last year's finals and go with what works to a certain degree with the likes of Irving/Love out there and the Cavs are the ones that do the major adjustments that pay off?

Kyrie's offense is what I can guarantee to be huge in this series. This guy's ceiling bursts through the roof when it matters most. I'm anticipating some of the most awesome finals performances of all time from this kid.

If JR shows up then there's no where the Warriors can hide curry. I'm anticipating Kerr will try the unorthodox and try to put him on Love if he's camped out behind the three point line. Lets allow Kevin to destroy this guy in the post if a switch or anything like this happens

Warriors bench is also weaker this year and I expect they would be matched against the Lebron plus bench players line up. We are weaker in defense but our competitive edge is being able to have offensively potent line ups at every point in the game. Curry and Klay will hit their 10 contested shots per game. Come to think of it so can Kyrie and JR(who seemed to relish playing them that one game we got blown out). Cavs win game one 180-165. Book it

Elhassan fucking insufferable. How much Warrior dick can this guy suck? Holy cow. "There is no chance." I'm not saying the Cavs will win, but sheesh.

Almost everyone outside this forum is underestimating us. Good.

We have a healthy squad now. Last time it was easy for them because they only had to defend LeBron and he almost had no weapons. This time around, we have Kyrie and Love. I think Kyrie is the X factor in this series.

My prediction: Cavs 4:2 GSW.
I actually think Frye is the X-factor...

He can keep Bogut and Ezeli out of the game.

No rim protection against Kyrie and LBJ?=gg

Keep Bogut or Ezeli on the floor with Frye out there? lol, then you can enjoy this cake

I think 5 games is my gut feeling. I don't think the Warriors are a 5 game losing series team.

A series doesn't follow a rhythm. So people that seriously think the Warriors can't lose a series in 5 are delusional. Any really good team can. The Heat with LeBron got slaughtered in 5.

I think the Cavs match up really well with them, and I don't think they're going to fool around.

I don't think GS has any answer at all defensively for us. I think our offense will cause them more problems than their offense will.

LeBron and Kyrie will get whatever they want in this series.

If they win, I think this is how it goes...
Game 1 - Cavs W
Game 2 - Warriors W
Game 3 - Cavs W
Game 4 - Cavs W
Game 5 - Warriors W
Game 6 - Cavs W

Don't see them doing it in 7 and don't see it happening earlier than 6.
Split the first 2 and protect home court.

All we need.

It's just typical Finals excitement bravado. I don't think anyone legitimately thinks the Cavs are about to roll through the Warriors. :chuckle: If the Cavs win, it will be a monumental upset, one that will be talked about in Cleveland for generations. They definitely have a shot, but that ESPN BPI thing that says 75% Warriors/25% Cavs is probably close to being accurate.

I picked Cavs in 5 too. I wanted to say Cavs in 4, but I got to assume GS can pull out at least one of the first two at home. And it might take us a game to adjust.

At this level, anyone can win on anyone's home floor. But if we get them down 3-1, we will be even more focused seeing what happened to OKC. And I think we relish the opportunity to beat them on their home floor.

I like starting the series on the road though. Gets us more focused right away. And takes a bit of the pressure off since the mindset is more to "steal" a game or two.

I don't know where some of you all are getting this cavs in 5 confidence.
Could stem from the fact that the Cavs are a fucking buzzsaw right now and have been squashing teams so long as the effort and focus is present.

We're playing better than Golden State (who could or should have lost in 5 or 6 to OKC). Would you disagree?

I just don't agree with this. And I think the 75% odds are pure lunacy.

The better regular season team is definitely the Warriors.

The better postseason team IMO is just as easily the Cavs. The Warriors have gotten the breaks beaten off of them twice now. Lost in Snoracle (while fully healthy), and were an epic Thunder collapse away from not even being here.

LeBron hasn't even been in killer mode yet. He has only had one 30 point game this postseason. He averaged 35 per game against the Warriors last year. He has an extra gear that has not been revealed yet.

I think the smart money is on Cleveland with the insane odds being thrown around.

You said you think the Cavs matchup well with them. please explain.
