The Finals | Game 1 | Cavs @ Warriors | June 2nd, 2016 | 9:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Blatt brigade strikes from the grave.

Seriously, it's tired...
Hey don't forget Amir. They love them some Blatt. Good thing he got a new job. Hopefully that team got a forum they can post about how great Blatt is.

Time to watch a movie a roll up a fat one.

See y'all Sunday. Fuck.
Yeah. I don't smoke weed but at this rate I might have to start if the Cavs keep playing like this. More than anything I'm mad I have to still go to work tomorrow and it's already midnight.

Offense was too slow but at the same time you play faster and make turnovers and the there is a 16 point lead for the Warriors in a blink of an eye.

Gotta find ONE lineup on the road against the Warriors that can manage some stops and keep scoring. It probably involves some combination of LBJ, Thompson, Frye, Dova, and Shump

When you're the road team if you're gonna split than the second game is the one that gives you more momentum. Win Sunday and we take home court for the series.

What I can't accept is betting on doubling Curry again, when Cavs basically lost last year because every time it was 3x4 on defense. It's idiotic to insist on this.

The problem is that if we don't double and don't trap, we probably get rusted by Curry/Klay anyway. But if they have a bad day, Cavs could actually profit from it.

Also, Lue fucked up bigtime on rotations. It's very clear that there's no chance with LeBron playing 44 minutes. He was gassed at the 3rd period already.

If Lue surprises and makes the correct adjustments and decisions, we can be competitive next game. But only if he's bold enough to do it.

Go replay the sequence of possessions in the 3rd.

The Cavs finally made a run and went 4 or 5 possessions with a chance to push it to a 3 or 4 point lead and took horrendous shots or made awful decisions.

They had a chance to break the game open there, really put some pressure on Golden State and then they folded to end the quarter.

Golden State's stars had the worst game of the entire season. That is the definition of a steal game.

Our stars (LeBron and Kyrie) decided to out suck then when it really mattered.
so you were saying they have to change but they somehow had a chance to steal the game after playing some of their worst basketball?

Pretty pathetic showing ...... Hope Lue makes the adjustments .. We're going to have to play a F*** of a lot better

Yet the game was dictated by a litany of Cavs mistakes. No movement on offense and complete lack of kickbacks to the guys who were open.
Cavs were too focused on forcing the inside game when the paint was packed.
Lue place more importance on his planned rotations than countering or forcing kerrs hand with circumstantial rotations.

In game adjustments are essential against a team like Golden State and the same issues that were there in the first half were still there in the 2nd.

I thought THIS was the series where we were locked in and gave maximum effort from start to finish... Guess not...

Lue HAS to stop playing Kyrie with the bench unit. It just doesn't work. It had success 1 time in the ATL series but that's it. Lebron needs to be the one on the floor with them. And I have no clue why Frye barely played, he has the ability to be a game changer and barely saw the floor. Lue needs to play what works, hopefully he gets it done in game 2.
he did but then went away from it. just like game 3 and 4 vs the raptors.
