The Finals | Game 1 | Cavs @ Warriors | June 2nd, 2016 | 9:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Good thing about 7 game series is that if we win game 2 all this pressure turns back to GS.
If we lose tho I may just stay off this board

We got beat by Shaun Livingston? Really? We gave that dude a chance to play basketball again, and he fucks us over like THAT?

Fact is Lue was shit this game.
He was good during other games.

But I don't give a shit about other games right now. All I care about is this series.
He's making the same mistakes he did when Toronto schooled us. Kerr took advantage of it.

I don't see how anyone can disagree with that and call me a Blatt troll or whatever.

I'm just calling what I'm seeing.
dude i have no associating with you at all but i agree the fuck with you.

I'm done with this game 1 thread.

Yes, if they can get Curry and Thompson to continually shoot 8/27, they have a chance.

My guess is they missed their only chance that it happens.

Game 2 is win or go home IMO. This team isn't equipped to win 4 of 6 against these guys let alone 4 of 5.

Just is what it is.
Baby.

I just don't understand why people are going after Ty Lue. Guys has made very few mistakes this postseason, and whenever he has, he's corrected them. He'll fix whatever he messed up tonight.

Calm down, guys. Let this series play out.

Because they go after Ty Lue after every game, ever since Blatt got fired.

Again, it's transparent and fucking pathetic; and it's also indisputable by just going through post history.

Lue deserves his lumps for that shitpile of decisions. But there's a difference between saying he had a bad game, and saying he's a bad coach.

I think he's a good coach. And I think he'll be better next game.

But for today, Lue takes the blame for this loss. Awful rotations, no Frye, no bench adjustments on Livingston. Just bad all around.

He'll be better next game. As will the players. I like our chances.

I actually think he's a bad coach.

As the D-O-Double-G says, "This types o' shit happens all the time..."

I wish Kyrie took a page from Curry's book when he's not playing well. Pass it around a ton and keep your defender close to you to space for other guys. Kyrie just can't jack up contested shots all the time. Still dont get how no one has coached him that a 17 footer with 12seconds on the shot clock and tight defense = DONT SHOOT

It's like all the good offensive habits the Cavs showed the very last portion of the season and throughout the playoffs went out the window tonight. They got to Broadway and forgot their lines when the lights came on. Role players and JR seemed afraid to shoot. Terrible ball movement which led to a lot of pokes and strips. Bad shot selection. These are the hallmarks of a rattled team, whether it was from over-eagerness or nerves.

I noted that a key to the series was if the Cavs could avoid getting rattled by runs, but tonight they surprised me by playing rattled from the get-go. Hoping they can settle in. They have the talent to beat this team; my concerns are more about "between the ears."

Terrible game. I just don't have faith. After being beaten down by every team we've had get close. I just expect to lose. From the Browns to tribe to Cavs. It's a right of passage for a fan of all cleveland sports to be pessimistic. Tonight reinforced that.

We still have game 2, like last year when LeBron showed the most emotion ever in a Cav uniform. Who's to say he won't have a version 2?

Odds and history may not be on our side but game 1s and LeBron just don't mix well. He's now 1-6. Sunday let's hope the James Gang treats it as a game 7 and have a wonderful plane ride home. It is possible, it was done and can be again.

I lose faith through our lapses and wonder how the hell do we beat this team, but game 2 will be different. Let's reinstall faith around here, make it a more healthy forum.

If you literally want to add nothing to this thread or board, have at it.

You aren't the posting police. The Cavs flushed a golden opportunity to steal a game against a better team.

If you want to call people babies and pussies, go for it. That's obviously what this is all about right?

Cause if they actually feel that way, they've given up. If you've given up, you're not on a forum for people who haven't given up. Unless of course you're an asshole troll who hasn't given up, nor bought in, they're just there to kick when folks are down and feed on the misery their woe is me BS helps foster. Parasites. Bottom Feeders.

Totally understand expecting the worst but continuously posting it or saying it in an area where people are trying to be positive is being a douche. Just like Quaid in Major League series. "We'll blow it in the playoffs!" They just need to STFU.

We haven't given up. We're just perpetually waiting for the other shoe to drop. It's entirely appropriate, given our life experiences.

That lineup would be horrible...I think Kyrie and Love played fine on D...Kyrie struggled when he was asked to guard guys 6'8 .. He did a solid job on Steph to say the least
He guarded Steph well and only Steph. That lineup is fine and has considerable height. Aside from Curry and Barbosa, Kyrie would be in a mismatch every time.

AC just said if we don't win Sunday then were not beating this team 4/5 games.

The players know this, I think we see a more complete game and a win.
